Day 2 Hurdle 1
We live in Grenada. The Beautiful Isle of Spice. We do not have PayPal, or a credit card and the bank will charge you $90.00 E.C. (approx. $33.00U.S.) for the privilege of buying from us if you want to pay by bank transfer.
Perhaps Moneygram
e.g:
"
This is for money transfers made from MoneyGram agent locations only. Actual prices may vary at some locations. "
Hmmm, still a bit pricey, unless the order was an urgent one.
Perhaps the best option is for the customer to choose their choice and once the correct funds are collected by us, the item will be sent. Yes, but then ...................
Notes to self:
1.Let us forget bank transfers, they are too expensive, take too long and have to be received and authorised by another bank here, before being credited to our account and can sit, forgotten, on the manager's desk for at least 10 days, as we know from experience.
2.Personal cheques are out also, as those 'from away' take at least 6 weeks to process here.
3.Paypal seems like a good option but we need a credit card to set up an account, which we do not have as yet, So, not an option right now but one for the future perhaps.
4. Barter! This totally appeals but may not pay bills.
USPS International Money Order seems to be the best option for American customers and the good old Post Office Postal Orders for those from the United Kingdom, as both are accepted here in Grenada and both charge a reasonable fee. Everyone everywhere else is very important to us but we need to work on this some more methinks. Any and all suggestions would be most welcome.
Can I go and paint now?

Day 1
We are delighted to announce that you have found the site of our
very first on-line shop. We took possession of this space today
and are very excited at the prospect of creating a special
environment, and filling it with beautiful things,
especially for you.
Please feel free to make any suggestions or comments as we
make our preparations, you can expect to see lots of changes
while we try out our various options and, naturally, you will be
amongst the first to receive an invitation to The Grand Opening!
